Sloane Salzburg joined Horizon Government Affairs in 2013. Sloane specializes in health policies related to general health reform and prescription drugs including medication adherence, precision medicine, and value-based payments as well as third party alliance building and coalition management.
Prior to joining Horizon, Sloane worked as a Health Policy Fellow for U.S. Congressman Phil Gingrey (R-GA). She graduated from Georgetown University with a Masters of Science in Biomedical Science Policy and Advocacy. Sloane also attended the University of Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology and completed a senior research thesis on American alligators. Sloane has been an Adjunct Professor in Biology at Daytona State College and has worked as an Emergency Room Technician.
Sloane currently serves on the Board of the Autoimmune Association and is an active volunteer with the Make A Wish Foundation.
